    Throttle Windows Update

Is there any way (other than through Group Policy... that stuff didn't make any difference when I tried using it for QoS) to throttle Windows Update?
I don't want to block it... but it would be nice if it didn't slow everything else down while its downloading non-essential updates.

There might be a way through your router, but I would just let windows update and get it over with.

Unfortunately there's no way through the router.
I used to be able to do it through my NVidia LAN software when I had a ASUS M3N-HD/HDMI AM2+ board with the NVIDia chipset. But sadly I now have an Intel one

Unfortunately I run a Minecraft server from home and Windows Update does seem to have a big impact on it. (As well as majorly slowing down StarCraft2 Multiplayer)
