Ghostfire is back, in the form of equipment. While it's a fun looking card, I wonder how much colorless we'll see in a set focused on three-colored cards.

I like the white and black morph ones, because they have some form of evasion and their morph bonus is actually useful. The red one sucks, and giving one creature trample once isn't really useful.

Currently we have a lot of colorless, what with Morph being around as face down morph creatures are colorless, and if Ugin shows up we may see some more colorless cards.

I like the RUG Intro pack guy, the rest are meh. Ankle Shanker seems really weak, considering you need a few other creatures to make it good and a 5-mana 2/2 on it's own is hardly worldbeating.

The RUG rare is certainly decent.

Spoilers for today. The Knuckleblade is really good, the mythic was saved from being horrible because it is an instant, and I have zero clue how to pronounce Bivouac.

The BUG clan seems really fun to me, those three are my favorite colors and I've always liked to play around with graveyard. So far I can't really feel the blue part though, most of the previewed cards so far could just be pure B/G imo. It's missing control and trickery.

Looks like Nicol Bolas is going to be in the next set.

I truly don't understand how people think that is nicol bolas. They look so different. That is Ugin, the spirit dragon. There are even better images from him now. If you look at the wings and the horns you can see it is not bolas at all!

Basically what I'm saying there is that I opened a born of the gods booster pack and got a foil battlefield thatamurge and mentor ajani, that was hilarious to see the old one, that -8 loyalty is op

The power level of the set is really low. There are basically 1-3 cards per format seing play from BNG, and that is well below average.

Just not enough cards worth getting packs for. It is pretty much Brimaz, Kiora, Courser, and the 3 scrylands. Sure I would be okay with some other rares, but I usually like having a good chance at breaking even, at least when it comes to packs.

hey there i'm kinda new to magic (well, relativity. I have been playing for about a year so I'm not terrible or anything.) I got a quick question. I made an infect deck at the request of one my friends then i brought it to a tournament and they said i couldn't use it. (I ended up using my red white token deck but thats not the point.) Are my cards too old? and if they are, is there a way I can still use them in competition? thnx!
