    Yak-ing is dead...

R.I.P. The days of leveling at a semi-decent rate are over now. =(

Thank god, because it ruined WvW so bad... j/k Eredon Terrace doubling both other servers we're fighting combined.

Anyone have any other decent leveling tricks?

Not sure what this is... with wvw as context, escorting supply for easy xp? No idea.

It was huge amount of people quing up for WvWvW and just doing escort events, not participating in real fight and filling up the ques and maps uselessy. I'd say kinda of an exploit basically.

Exploit just doesn't mean the same today as it used to, I guess.

Well, seeing as supplies are critical in wvw, they are contributing, but it's nonetheless an underhanded thing to do if you're just looking for quick experience. Not an exploit at all though.

My friends and I found that doing the Qiagen (sp?) events in the lake as well as capping the island in the lake awards good XP. Large kill streaks for killing lots of Qiagen is pretty sick. We also participate in back-dooring camps and such that the zerg isn't attacking (usually involving myself and my friends on the opposite side of the map while the zerg is beating on something else).

We never did the escort events, too boring. Wandering the map doing other events while killing small groups of people on the way is where the fun is at!

Because by your definition, the fastest way to gain experience is always an exploit amirite?

Yakking is usefull if the destination really needs resources. They should just make it give rewards if the destination is low on resources and not count it otherwise. That way people will still do it but won't just do it in the safest area.

They aren't really contributing though because they put a ton more people than were needed on the yak, and since they only guard the shortest route the place the supplies are brought is almost always completely full.
