What's the best items to buy low sell high?

So I've seen people doing alot of buy low sell high with copper ores, it's like 1 copper earned for every copper? isn't there a faster item to earn gold on?

Why would anyone who's figured out a profitable way to play the market tell you about it on a public forum and ruin their method as everyone on MMO-C rushes to do it?

The best way to make large profits is the mystic forge.

4 greatswords, 4 daggers, 4 staffs etc. combine them and sell the results if exotic. the breakdown works like this:

4 lvl 80 rares =

64% chance to get a lvl 80 rare
25% chance to get non-named exotic (Prefix's Pearl Carver of Suffix for example)
10% chance to get named exotic (Ironfist for example)
1% chance to get prerequisite legendary.

you can buy 4 lvl 80 rares for around 50-70s total if you're willing to wait a few hours (I tend to buy in bulk of 20-30~)

non-named exotics: sell from 2-5g
named exotics: sell from 4-10g
prerequisite exotics: sell from 20-100g

statistically, you'll always make a profit.

though it's a bit of a gamble.
