o.0 wheres 2200 - 2400? Im a pretty consitent mid-2300 player so I dont feel like I really belong in any of those categories.

I have never been very high, as I started very late in Cata. I hovered around 1500

Achieved 1855 with my main hunter in 2v2 with holy paladin. Can't do much with a cannon fodder class. All hunters above 2000 are obviously carried to that rating. Up to now hunters were crap, with MoP changes we might get a chance to fight back. We will see.

I just started arenaing this last season. Peaked at 2104 rating as Feral/Mage/Shaman. Maybe we could have reached 2.2k if the Shaman could talk. ^^

I've never gotten into arena much, highest rating I ever got was 1680 or so in 5s. I've done only about 150 total arena matches since I started back in TBC.

always been between 1600-1700 although i have never really done that much arena, maybe 100(ish) games across all seasons.
seems hard to arena with guildies that cba after loosing a couple of matches

i would say im around 2300+ skilled played to 2100+ rating

the biggest issue which most arena people will prob agree with is finding partners that you have good synergy with and that are equally skilled

Both in WotLK. TBC rolled sl-sl lock just for lolz, but didnt get any highratings cause I only had discpriest friend (no restodruid ;<).
Haven't touched Cata arena at all basicly, just done few wins for friends to get points or something.

I used to 2s and 3s with a couple of mates back in late TBC and Wrath.
Never really interested me, but it was better than mindlessly pressing buttons and avoiding scripted attacks in PvE.

I think I peaked at 1500 in 2's as Disc/Arms in 4.2, dear lord my poor laptop keyboad. But I mainly BEE GEE HERO.

Poll is useless because of people like this over-evaluating their rating, also i'm sure people voting 2700 earned it during S9 where it was Duelist on most BGs.

I've managed 1500 with my druid in current gear (2 bits of pvp, rest pve gear) but managed to get to 1750 on my hunter in wrath, took 4 week with off-spec pvp kit from voa was with a balance/healing spec druid and a dk, they were both around the 1900-2000 mark as a 2v2, the 3v3 were for fun tho.

In 2s it's very hard to get high ratings as a hunter with healer but with another dps it is much easier. Also the ratings are deflated in 2s, so that makes it harder to get high ratings in 2s as well. In 3s though it isn't hard to get high as a hunter, just play triple dps if you want to be extremely faggy.

And to the topic, I've been at 1900-2100 many times from s8 and forward though I haven't played that much in cata plus I have had also problems with having good and reliable partners to play together with to increase the synergy between us.

Absolutely not true. 2000 is nothing, even the most underwhelming of specs like a prot paladin or some such could've broke 2k lately without being carried. There are several hunters out there getting rank 1, many more getting gladiator, not to mention they were even better on the last couple of TRs than they were on live. It is asinine to assume every single high rated hunter has been carried to that rating just because they're not a warlock or a shaman or a rogue.

Either way, this kind of topic is usually fun and all but 90% of people have achieved their highest ratings in S9 (and S10, to a certain extent), which kind of defeats the point. That asides, my personal highest has been 2600, 2870 and 2700 during S8 in 2's, 3's and 5's respectively.
