    Moonkin UI

    Hi Guys,

    I made another UI the uses a crapload of 3D model auras from WeakAuras



    Beyond the obvious eye candy, I tried hard to make it highly functional. I've got to say, WeakAura's features in the Eclipse bar department are really superb. I had a lot of fun making this UI. I'd be interested to know what everyone thinks :-)

    I think it looks great. Minimalistic for some aspects but fully functional as you said. Could you go over exactly what addons you used and what each secton in the centre is?

    NOTE: Just finished reading the youtube comment at youtube and noticed you had listed the addons at the end as well Youtube comment also has links to the files. Albeit, not full UI pack ready.

    simple and aesthatic. i like it, but i love your Kait:Auras UI

    Nice work with the glow for the eclipse states beyond the target picture

    Damnit, you beat me to the cropped 3d models idea.
    Your use of them as bars for eclipse was clever.

    Amazing work done there, I might try to create my own eclipse bar now where I saw yours.

    At first i was always struggling to avoid having them clip the edges of their boxes, but then i realised that when nestled into other bits of design and unit frames and such, it actually looks very deliberate and quite cool :-)

    If/when a fight comes along in MoP where that is necessary i'll install the addon that shows the dots on the nameplates. I forget the name of it.

    sorry for necroing a thread but Kait, are there any chances to get your WeakAuras strings for the eclipse bar (or from anyone if you managed to reproduce the design)?
    I am currently looking for an awesome eclipse bar for my boomkin and this looks just awesome.

    I'd also be interested in the strings

    Also, how is it that you arent getting flickering of the models? Currently WA models are flickering (restarting their animation) on every single keypress
