99% of the time no, it looks ridiculous in my opinion. You have somehow managed to find one of the 1% with your top picture though, that's not such a bad duck face.
Also accidental duck face as someone takes your picture aren't as bad either, but the extreme lips stuck out close up photos are honestly quite disgusting. (Pictures 2 and 3 of the OP)
