It just seems silly to me

It's all about taste. Most stores get it pretty close. For example, the Target here sells cookies that perfectly mimic Oreo's, so there's never a reason to buy the real thing. But, if you're crazy enough to buy bottled water, Sam's Choice bottled water literally tastes like raw sewage. On that note though, most drinks have a distinct difference in taste between store brand and name brand. You can get cheap RC drinks all you want, but the Dr. Pepper knockoff is nasty. The citrus drink is good, but definitely different than Mello Yello.

I will never understand konami's obsession with making you have to earn the cards in their yugioh games. I have less fun using some bullshit "starter deck" that konami thinks is good for a newer player than making my own deck and using it.

And any fanmade programs have lots of problems with them.

I kiiiinda but don't really get the authentic, actually worn by the player jerseys going for big bucks.

I can't see spending $100 on a shirt just because it has a football player's name on it.
