I'd be interested in the amount of damage the lunge actually does. I mean it can completely destroy my stamina, thus making me unable to block and can easily take down more than 2/3rd of my health, if not kill me outright..

Hmm, you should grab some more stamina then 40 stamina is the must. Above that is a bit wasted.

I don't leap that much unless I know I one-shot who I am hitting. I get by by blocking or rolling to the side and strong attacking.

Dark Souls is the messiah of modern RPG's.

But I haven't played Demon Souls yet I'm hoping I get it for christmas (Since it's the only thing I've put on the wishlist my mother forced me to make)

Rolling is the best way to go at everything. I had Havel's Ring and the Darkwood Grain ring thingy to make me do a flip instead of a roll on my mage. And yeah, currently just getting more Vit + End, Strenght is already at 40, thus making my Black Knights Greataxe have a good 626 attack rating.
