You have 47.9 grams of a substance which contains 5.36 grams of hydrogen and 42.5 grams of oxygen. What's the mole ratio between the two? I mean, I know the final substance is water (H2O) but I want someone to explain the math to me because I don't know I just want the math for future reference.

Now I can laugh it even more knowing it's just Walmart fucking up.

It's fine. I found a yahoo answers thing that explains most of the math, but only that one small part it doesn't. It. . . . doesn't NEED to but I wish it would just for future reference. X.X
Oh well I'll ask my chem teacher tomorrow for help on it. This assignment is due . . . wednesday? So I have until then for help and shit on it. It isn't hard just confusing, mostly because of the wording and such.
