CURRENTLY RECRUITING A NON PALADIN HEALER!

Who we are looking for:

First, we are looking for people who are serious about raiding. We may have a casual raiding schedule, but we aren't casual about raiding. We don't accept people who waste our time, waste their time, aren't focused, and come to raid ignorant about the encounters. If you want to be successful here, you will have to manage your time, effort and resources wisely.

What this means is that during off time you are following theorycrafting threads on websites appropriate to your class. You should know how to spec and gem for the current tier of progression, you should be able to pull off your rotations without having to look at buttons as your focus should be on your positioning and timers.

Second, mistakes happen, especially when learning a new encounter. We may start the learning process with a broken strategy, or with the wrong comp, but everyone of us are committed to a better next attempt. This means you know how to look at combat logs, know how to identify your own mistakes, and have a level head to be able to share what you learn with the guild. If you are the type of person who can't admit mistakes but react defensively when raid leaders ask you questions, or unable to learn from others, or if we get the impression you raid for gear and not progression - you will not pass initiation here.

Third, we don't tolerate jerks. We are strong believers that clashes of personality can ruin a raid's focus. If you can't keep calm or display patience during progression you will not pass initiation here. At the same time, if you are a new initiate, expect criticism, sometimes it may be harsh. If you can adapt, you will succeed here, if you don't, you won't pass initiation.

Fourth, and most importantly, we value people who understand how to work with a team. If you are the type of person who contributes whether it be in material or ideas, comes min maxed and doesn't require hand holding, we really want you to be successful here. Strategy ideas, respecs for progression, min maxing food buffs, etc. - small details no matter how seemingly trivial can make or break successful learning attempts. Progression raiding is a team effort and 10 minds work better than just 1.

About Us:

We only raid 3 nights a week, therefore we don't like to waste time - but more importantly, we don't like to waste your time.

We raid at 8:00pm-12:00am on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, with a completely optional Sunday or Monday if all raiders agree progression calls for an extra day. Invites start around 7:45pm, so be online, on time and ready to go.

As a new member you will go through a 2-4 week trial period during which you are expected to show up at every raid, whether or not you are included in the raid. Poor attendance during your initiation will be taken as an indicator of future attendance; which unless you have a good explanation will reflect negatively on your application.

Anyone whose attendance rate is below 90% is not guaranteed a raid spot. We have no formal rules to determine who gets a raid spot or not, however we reserve spots for the best performers. We balance our raids between what classes we need to get a boss down and a player's previous raid attendance rate. The lower your rate of attendance, higher the likelihood you will be sat out. We also actively recruit new players to promote competition and meritocracy, so also in that respect raid spots are not guaranteed.
