Brawler's Guild sounds interesting.
Brawler's Guild sounds interesting.
This might be a little...too fast. I mean, I'm not even close to done with everything there already is to do, and I've been staying up until 3 am more than I've done at any point since college. Add all this on top of the heap and I'm liable to get some sort of aneurysm trying to keep up. That said, the Brawler's Guild looks pretty darn cool.
I hope that they announce the Warlock faction at this patch.
Please add an option where we can avoid being grouped with certain people ever again in LFD and LFR. So many cases where guild groups ninjad staff which they couldnt even use... in the end I was kicked, because I outraged and insulted their mothers in 5 different lenguages. :P
Good lord people are STILL COMPLAINING? What did you expect, whole new raids in the first month?
it was only re-hashed content for those who had already played ZA and ZG. I guess thats why they rehashed it to begin with. Not many people got to see those 2 raidinstances and with 4.1 they got the revamped version and for them it was all new stuff.
I'm sorry I am missing something here. Where does it say Jade Forest revamp?
new daily hubs, scenarios and all that is fine, as I said I am looking forward to it. but in my opinion it is not enough to be called content patch. the world events like brewfest and childrens week also had new dailies, items and in some cases a new boss or even world boss (think Omen back in the day) but they didnt call it content patch and they didnt make a big thing out of it because it wasnt a big thing. Out of the couple of things they announced I cant see myself entertained for more than a week.

and you know that how? wheres your source? and how long is it going to be until 5.2 comes, the hopefully real content patch? Or better yet how long from 5.0 to 5.2?
Think you need to be a bit careful saying only patches that have raids are "Real Content".
Look we get it, you hate everything single thing in WoW other than raiding, god forbid they give you a patch that does not please your exact requirement.
For crying out loud it is less than 2 weeks since MoP is released and your already going "OMG they are releasing a patch that does not contain a Raid" that is not "Real Content" really?
I love raiding, but you know what I want stuff that give me something to do other than on the nights I raid, I don't want wow to fell stale I want it to fell like something is constantly going on.
I would MUCH rather have
5.0 Raids
5.1 Other Content (2-3 Months In).
5.2 Raid (2-3 Months Later)
5.3 Other Content (2-3 Months Later).
I do think there is going to be a 5-6 month gap between raids.
I am hoping T14 lasts for 5-6 months (16 bosses) then we get smaller raids but more frequently (maybe 4-5 months between raids)
4.1 was a lazy patch, pure and simple. You can defend it up and down, but it existed only to keep the fanbase from losing it waiting 7 months for Firelands.it was only re-hashed content for those who had already played ZA and ZG. I guess thats why they rehashed it to begin with. Not many people got to see those 2 raidinstances and with 4.1 they got the revamped version and for them it was all new stuff.
He was wrong about Jade Forest, it's actually Krasarang Wilds, and how much it'll be changed is completely up-in-the-air. But that's the point. We know very little about this patch, and you're already complaining about lack of content. The daily hub could be the best thing since sliced bread, and the Brawler's Guild could breathe new life into the single-player experience. Or they could be complete throwaways (like the holidays you mentioned). And they said that's not all to the patch. The fact is, we don't know anything, most of us are just happy that we're hearing about another patch so soon. So I ask you, WHAT ARE YOU COMPLAINING ABOUT?I'm sorry I am missing something here. Where does it say Jade Forest revamp?

5.1 will be live by 2 months from launch, so many NPCs have been saying this, in the context of the story 5.1 coincides with the arrival of the alliance and horde fleets to pandaria.
and you thought the effects one small battle had with the sha were bad?
imagine what will happen when whole armies clash.

5.1 is a minor content patch.
5.2 will be a Raid patch.
5.3 will be minoir.
5.4 will be a Raid patch.
And etc.
Stop QQ. We gonna get raid every 4 month. And minor patch every two month!
This sounds fantastic!
Is Blizzard really gonna fix the mess that Cataclysm did to the game? Holys.
Can't wait to evolve some pokemo... pets. \o/
Now while I wish with all my might this to be true.
I think you might be setting the bar a little high
As long as the current tier does not last in months longer than the number of bosses (AKA DS 8 bosses for 10 months) it will be an improment step in the right direction!
That raises an interesting question though.
What would you prefer.
A raid every 4 months with 6ish bosses in, or a raid every 6 months with 9ish bosses in.

I have no idea how refined the brawlers guild will be, but I suppose it will feature some of the more complex questing mobs (The Sha in Krasang e.g.) in normalized gear and maybe a few new ones.
To be honest, I would have much rather had a rehashed raid or two.
I'm pretty sure I suggested something like the brawlers guild on the WoW Forums a long time ago when Cata was in beta. I had suggested that they do something similar to the FF7 Battle Square where you just go up against mob after mob after mob in one on one battle where it gradually gets harder and maybe you get status ailments or random silences or something. Looks like they were listening (so what if they weren't. In my book, this was my idea!).
Dayum that was actually pretty fast, I'm impressed myself jeez. Despite It's not a raid patch; It's alright you've got weeks and weeks to the first tier of content I mean cmon now.
