    Hey folks, got a laptop on the way, anyone with similar specs or some computer knowledge care to give their opinion on how well this will run wow :

    The 650M is a lower end card from what I hear, can you afford to upgrade it? Otherwise it will probably be the bottleneck of this build.

    As for running WoW, I run a i7 3720, GTX 680M, and 12GB RAM and get about 50FPS in Org on max.

    Edit: However, WoW is CPU intensive, not as much GPU. You can probably pull it off, as that CPU is pretty good. Let's see what others say.

    Planning on hooking it up to a 24" monitor and I'm wondering how much this will impact upon the fps if at all? Clarification would be cool!

    TBH, WoW doesn't require too much power. My friend has an iMac with that gpu, and runs wow at 60fps minimum. It struggled on 25m a little, dropping down to low 30s-high 20s though.

    Ah ok thanks! Unfortunately I can't upgrade the graphics card but from what I hear it will run fine even if I can't have everything on ultra ill be happy
