    I don't get why people say it's...

Crit > Str > Mastery > Haste for

    TG

Str > Crit > Mastery > Haste for

    SMF

Crit is so ridiculously good. It increases Enrage uptime which increases damage done and generates rage. It enables Raging Blow and turns 'on' your Mastery: Unshackled Fury.

So I really don't get why STR is apparently still better for SMF.

    What gives?

    Random guess:

Maybe it's because Raging Blow is stronger for TG? After all, critting and becoming enraged allows the use of RB as well.

I don't recall seeing crit>str (but I might be wrong), it's just that crit is really close to strength. So when secondary stat-gems give u twice the amount than str, it makes it alot better to gem crit.

[edit] SMF has a much stronger Execute that scales with AP, which could probably offset the statweights in favor for str

    This sounds reasonable.
