    "Not @self Macro"?

I have my spells set to auto self cast so that I don't have to click myself to heal if I need it. The problem, however, is that if I accidentally hit Earth Shield, it overwrites my Water Shield, and wastes GCDs and mana.

Is there a macro to do something like this?

    /cast [NOT ME] Earth Shield

I would just like the cursor to light up if I click Earth Shield without a target selected. Is that possible?

    #showtooltip Earth Shield
    /cast [target=mouseover] earth shield

This will make it so Earth Shield will not cast unless you have your mouse over someone else. Works for me so I hope it works for you.

A guildie suggested that, but it's not quite what I was looking for. I wanted my cursor to light up if I didn't have a target, and mouseover won't do that.

    I found this:

    /cast [@none] Spell Name

It basically bypasses auto self cast, so your cursor lights up and waits for the next click.

    would @noplayer or @notplayer work?

    [@target]
    or
    [@mouseover]
    or
    [@hbtarget]
    if you use healbot
