Hm 1 question, does "super XP mobs" from tall grass still exsist in B/W2? Since that was the main way to level inn the first game until like level 70.

No pokemon game is worth getting if Scyther isn't in it.

They need to make 2 master games. Allowing you to travel to all regions and collect every single pokemon. Except some should be trade only version exclusives (hence 2 master games). Such as starters and the games promoted legendary.

I already have a team ready from White (1) that can beat all type combos (except ghost/dark because I couldn't be bothered to get a pokemon to do that) and have EV trained them (while keeping them low lvl) to send them at appropriate times to my Black 2 once I get it since I'm gonna start the game on hard mode. I'm getting the grass starter since powerful grass moves are kinda hard to find and leaf blade is one of them.

Hey all. I was gonna download Genesect and use him in my line up, but im wondering if he's super OP. As much as I want to use him I'd rather not have a god mode pokemon right from the get go.

    Thanks.

I connected my 3ds to my wireless network from the systems setting tab and the test connection worked, but I can't connect to Nintendo WFC. Anybody know why? Slash which public places have wifi i can hope onto? lol

i disliked black and white, and dont really care about black and white 2. The main reason i didn't like black and white was that in soulsilver and heartgold, your pokemon followed right behind you. This was not major but i loved it, having my typhlosion just walk behind made me happy

Genesect is quite strong indeed. Its total base stats is 600 which many strong pokemon (e.g. Haxorus, Garchomp) have and might be a bit too strong to have right from the start as it doesn't evolve which means it has all its max values right from lower levels and (if I'm wrong please correct me on this) the OT shown will be the name of the event or something similar so it will be receiving bonus experience.

Will be getting this game tomorrow, since i live in europe. Didnt really check much about it tbh, but im guessing its backwards compatible like black/white was to heartgold/soulsilver? Got several ones i want to transfer over since i was doing my usual "get the EP values up, get bored somewhere later and stop playing". Then i could just transfer them later and continue what i was doing.

As for starters i usually pick the one that looks best (as in appearance, not actual skillset or similar), then proceed to remove it later on unless it proves useful.

Speaking of B/W, does anyone else find it ironic, that PETA attacked pokemon, and the fact that theres a PETA-ish faction in B/W? I mean, they wanted to free all the pokemons from slavery and pokeballs, and in the end, the shady leader tried to do the opposite :P

I'll probably get it eventually, but as for starting mons, I can't stand having a full team of six. Too many to have to level and some will get higher unless I make the effort to grind levels on the lower ones. I usually make a team of 3 or 4 that cover each others weaknesses and that usually works pretty well.

I'd give you an inch, you'd take me a mile, your tail wagging happily all the while.

http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wi...3%A9dex_number Just putting the link inn, so you can check you're self for pokemons. The list has every pokemon possible to get in-game I belive (If you trade aswell + events etc)

Okay after some serious looking around, I present you the best options for EASY IN-GAME TEAM, that needs NO Breeding/Trading or anything like that. Now this list could be wrong; I dont know if all the pokemons are inn B/W2 yet, since I've just gotten it today. The list here is based on 2-3 hours of Smogon/bulba fun and my prior knowledge about pokemons.

Please read the Smogon links for inspiration, on what you might wanna pick.

    1. You're starter pokemon can work, but do consider other options. In general they just aint that good late game.

    2. http://www.smogon.com/bw/pokemon/lucario Lucario can be gotten early inn the game, pretty easy, sadly 1 quit good move Crunch needs breeding, but it can go both speciel and physical attack.

    3. http://www.smogon.com/bw/pokemon/excadrill Excadrill was extremly popular inn B/W1, and personally I found this to be one of the top 10 BEST pokemons on any in-game team I made.

    4. http://www.smogon.com/bw/pokemon/heracross Heracross, has been used alot on many teams. Personally Ive never used it before, but this time I might do an exception. I love sword dance builds for in-game teams.

    5. http://www.smogon.com/bw/pokemon/volcarona Volcarona everyone proboaly used at one point if they played B/W. Sure many other can setup aswell, but since I find a lack of fire types this seems pretty good (I tough about Arcanine really).

    6. http://www.smogon.com/bw/pokemon/jellicent Jellicent Ive used alot in-game, and its just alot of fun to use a wall like this. Other options exsist for sure, but consider this if you want a wall.

    7. http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Mienshao Mienshao is great to switch inn and out etc (Regenerator abbility). Haven't really used it before, but always tough about it.

    8. http://www.smogon.com/bw/pokemon/metagross Metagross is just nice. Great moves by lvling it etc. I do think it comes late inn the game still.

    9. http://www.smogon.com/bw/pokemon/bouffalant Bouffalant I used alot before, simply love it. Yes its slow, but it can take hits while dealing sick loads of damage with Head Smash etc, and the moves it learns are perfect. Tauros 2.0.

    10. http://www.smogon.com/dp/pokemon/flygon Flygon Ive never used before, and dont know much about it. It seems interesting with Ground typing, and its move pool aint to bad.

    11. Eevee's evoulotions (As I belive you get it later as a gift?). They all bring something to the table, trough If you were to use one Id pick Joleteon for speciel sweep, Varpereon for bulky water type etc. Up to you really.

    12. Hydreigon/Haxorus/Tyranitar. No need to tell why these 3 are to be considered, trough they are abit over-used.

Now these are just a hand-pick of what I think would be nice options for in-game team. Ofcourse any pokemons works for in-game teams, choose what you like. If you want that electic spider, or firey ape pokemon, do take them!

Good luck all, and do say if you got other options and ideas

And yes, first gym badge aint much fun cause of work up I recommed a save before trying him out.

Edit: Did abit of typo fixing. I will also add that you should aim to get Braviary, Hydreigon or any decent pokemons for Fly. Really, you kinda want a pokemon that can use fly, that you can also use on you're team if needet. For some reason Volcarona learns Fly aswell I belive, while that makes no sence.

I can recommend Flygon, not as big a pain in the ass to get like other dragon types as Dragonite, Salamence and Garchomp, but it still kicks ass big time.

Beat the E4 and Champion. Time was 23 hours and 23 minutes.

Lvl 57 Terrakion, Lvl 58 Lucario, 57 Emboar, Lvl 60 Metagross, Lvl 62 Magneton, and Lvl 37 Golduck.

The E4 and Champion were not hard to beat at all. Most of the E4 lack the moves to pack quite a punch. Team Plasma beforehand is more difficult than them. Ghetsis nearly destroyed my entire team. Many a Revives were used.

That was fast Nazrark I defiantly will end up inn a much slower time, then again I also talk to every fucking NPC and iddle with web things while its logged inn:P

I tough about Magneton aswell, it seems quit OK. Just annoys me you haft to trade Electabuzz, wouldent mind trying that one, since you can get Elekid early.

Else Genesect via Nintendo Wifi seceret gift seems solid as most legendary pokemons (I will likely use it, and have it as speciel attacker with good coverage).
