So, does Ancestral Guidance count as a heal, as in all the trinkets and what not that has the "Can proc X after a direct or heal over time ability"?

Yeah I tried to test it, never got a proc from it, but then again I tried testing regular healing using the brewfest egg - never got any procs from that either, so it may just be bad egg-luck.

Most of those trinkets have a habit of always proccing very fast if they aint on ICD.

AG doesn't count as "direct healing", is why; it's proccing off other stuff. This also has advantages for certain negative effects that also proc off direct healing, like the effect on Yor'sahj for instance, since it's a huge amount of healing that doesn't fit it.
