richard dawkins
and umm sheldon cooper? :S
Not really into the science thing >.<
Hawking
Dawkins
Chomsky
I wouldn't say debunked, it was last week sometime. Ironic that it comes up given the other "Most Educated Countries" thread simultaneously, since the kids were from the University of Toronto
Nevermind, you mean that group. http://www.sciencenews.org/view/gene..._quantum_world
Thought you had been referring to this one: http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases...1004121638.htm

Stephen Hawking
Richard Dawkins
Michio Kaku
Sig by the amazing Shyama! <Ascension 16/16 H 25man oceanic>
Steven Hawking, Brian Cox...and...
Serge Haroche and David Wineland won the Nobel prize for Physics today but I had to look them up cos I couldn't remember their names so I guess I cheated
I'm going to not name Stephen Hawking to see if my list looks different
Brian Cox
Niel D'Grass Tyson (I know this is spelled wrong, so i just spelled it as I say it)
Mitchu Kaku (see above regarding spelling)
I name physicists cause that's what I study. I know I know the names of some "other" scientists, but they just aren't coming to mind. (I could also name off my professors, but I don't think many would know their work)
Einstien trolled Newton so hard with general relativity
Neil Tyson, don't remember the spelling of the middle name
Michiu Kakou, most likely spelled wrong
Bill Nye
The first two I'm a big fan of, Bill I just recently saw some videos where he featured in on Youtube
"In order to maintain a tolerant society, the society must be intolerant of intolerance." Paradox of tolerance
Nick Tesla, Isaac Newton, and Sir. Crapper.
You cant look it up but people posting is pretty much enough already~
Not looking at other people's, though I assume all of mine have been mentioned already: Richard Dawkins, Lawrence Krauss and Sam Harris.
Edit: Ooh! I got 2 that weren't mentioned. Go me! \o/
Michio Kaku
:S
I'm somewhat skeptical of Bill Nye being a "scientist" lol, good guy and all and a huge advocate for getting kids involved especially in the 90s. But I'm not certain he's really...done anything. Still a good dude, I just find it funny, though not surprising, that he's trumping most of the pure researchers out there in popularity lol. I mean he's got a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering.
