Why do I have to pve to get into pvp?

Why in the hell would they start a season and have no honor weapons...So now I have to run mind numbing heroics to HOPE for a bow to drop. Its already hard enough to go into BG's with no gear, but having my weapon be a quest green wont help much.

So you're getting a bow? Just do a 10-15min scenario called Arena of Annihilation and get a free 450 weapon, as BM you will oneshot most of your opponents with that. glhf

It's probably expensive because it takes Trillium but if you have a miner and can supply that to someone, you can likely get it much cheaper.

BiS, I don't think you know what it means. BiS would be heroic epic MSV gear. Pretty sure its not trumped by Malevolent gear.

No, but there was no restriction on conquest earned before getting your conquest weapons back then. Most people would have their weapons in week 2 or 3. With the new restriction and no honor weapons, it means you need a pve weapon to hold out for ~a month.

I'm pretty sure he meant BiS for several classes raiding Mogu'shan Vaults to get said gear and not BiS of this entire tier.
If you're already farming heroics gear the first week heroics are available to you, you're not going to get enough Conquest Points to purchase a full set of Malevolent gear anyway. For those normal people who aren't farming heroics the first week available, his point remains that Malevolent gear is/can still be BiS pre-heroic raiding.

In PVE the boss is set. In PVP no one has that gear for the first ~month so you're all equal.

I have made nearly 30 scenario when I hit 90 and dropped 3 items which weren't for my spec (only holy gear for my ret/prot paladin). Stil have to see a wep droping, but I do scenario no more (useless at gearm, useless at valor pts, scenario are well done...)

Sometimes we have to do some things we don't really want to do in order to be successful. So, I still don't see what the big deal is just runa few 5 mans and you'll never have to do another

Hell, even t2 Malevolent weapons can barely compare to normal mode MSV gear. Heroic mode is massively better. (with the PvP power added into the equation to make the comparison)
