Question on meta achieves (mount rewards)

Hey guys, I was just wondering, if I have all but one achievement from like ICC HM could I go in on a different toon on my account and do that one achieve and get the meta-achieve and mount reward? I'm at 96/100 for mountain o' mounts and I'm trying to figure out the easiest ones for me to get atm. The only reason I'm even asking this question is because on my monk when I look at my achieves it shows I have all but 1 for the first Glory of the Hero and Glory of the WOTLK Raider. I couldn't find a previous thread that answers this question... so sorry if there is/was, and thanks in advance for any info.

You can tell by looking at the achievement. If the achievement has the blue-ish background to it, then individual parts can be done by different characters on an account for credit. If it doesn't have the blue background, then they all have to be on the same character.
