In the very end of Wrath of the Lich King a few old-timers and in-game cronies decided to bring back the fun they had together in The Burning Crusade and formed New World Order. A guild set to achieve good ranks on the cradle of 25-man raiding - Kazzak, while maintaining a healthy raid schedule and a more relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere.
Through a lot of work, dedication and passion the goal was achieved late in the 4.2 patch and since then nWo has been actively competing on the 25-man raiding scene with a core of like-minded individuals striving for progress while still having time for various real-life obligations. With the strong back we now aim even higher, conquering better server ranks and expanding our community to more games so that we can enjoy playing together even outside Azzeroth.
Progress
We are currently standing at 2/6 Mogu'shan Vaults Heroic, 5/6 Heart of Fear Normal and 0/4 Terrace of Endless Spring Normal. More information can be found on wowprogress.com .
Requirements
As a guild standing strong in the middle of the progress curve we have some minimal requirements towards potential applicants. As we need every raider to contribute positively to both the overall raid performance but also to the guild's atmosphere and our good standing in the server community, we are interested in solid players from both execution and volume standpoint, people who understand the guild's needs are above their own and who are willing to fully commit to the game in these 12 hours of obligatory raiding per week.
Throughout the application process candidates' knowledge on their classes is put to a test, both in playing and in preparing their characters. Excessive raiding background is a huge bonus but not a necessity.
What we offer in return
nWo offers a spot in a stable 25-man raiding team that is looking to compete at a high level on Kazzak's PvE scene. You can expect a nice raiding atmosphere with enough seriousness when needed but also where jokes and casual talk is not forbidden unless absolute focus is needed to get the last 10% of the next boss. We feel players tend to perform better when relieved of pressure and try to actively promote a stress-free environment.
We also offer you a spot in a guild where feedback is always constructive and random whining is prohibited. But the communication is far from one-sided in this regard as the guild's management is always trying to be open for discussions and criticism.
Finally we offer you a spot in a guild with good standing on Kazzak, well supported both in and out of the game, with a great community of players in its core and all the benefits from this you can imagine.
Recruitment
We are currently interested mostly in the following classes/specs/roles. Please have in mind that we have always considered our team to be work-in-progress and as such we are more than interested in players that can challenge our current raiders.
Healers
Monk
Druid
Ranged DPS
Druid
Priest
Shaman
Melee DPS
Warrior
Paladin
Druid
Raiding Schedule
During progress we raid on the following days/times:
Wednesday 19:15 - 23:00
Thursday 19:15 - 23:00
Sunday 19:15 - 23:00
During farm periods we usually use only Wednesday as an official raiding day and leave the rest for other, non-mandatory activities. Additionally off-days are often used for achievement hunting, alt raids, RBG-s, arenas etc. Organizing these is supported and promoted by the guild management as we value them highly for their community building after-effects.
Loot Distribution
With time passing we came to realize there is no better system out there than Loot Council. Point-based, error and abuse-prone systems never gave us the ability to distribute loot in a way the guild would benefit the most. Potential applicants are expected to understand how and why Loot Council is used and respect the council’s decisions.
