    Computer Desk Suggestions?

I'm looking for a computer desk style that I've seen quite a few times around but haven't yet to see a desk I like. Basically, I want a fairly long desk, flat at the top on which I can put my monitor, keyboard, and mouse on the same level. Then the printer to the side. The one I'm using right now I have to settle with putting my keyboard and mouse on a lower level of the desk. Can be any material really, as long as it's flat on the top or it can be L-shaped. Material doesn't really matter, as long as it doesn't break instantly lol. Preferably black. Anyone got suggestions? <$250 seems like a budget for me. Been hunting on Amazon but haven't found much.

Something like this: http://www.amazon.com/Office-Star-6-...k+office+table but black & L-shaped.

I have this and it's actually pretty roomy while being pretty small to fit in a room without taking much space. Kind of a bitch to assemble.

    Something like this maybe?

It's twice the price of a Walmart desk and only helps if you have a store near you. Basic particle board with laminate or veneer depending on which one it is.

I actually have one of the smaller non-corner desks and it feels quite sturdy. Certainly stronger than the department store desk that I had which flexed and bowed under the weight of two monitors.

To get exactly what I wanted, I had to build it myself.

I don't necessarily suggest that for you if you are not into power tools and the like, but it really is the ONLY way to get exactly what you want.

That's not for everyone. It can take a LOT of work to get a nice finish, especially for those of us that prefer the polished look LOL.

@op you seem to be on the right track with the folding table you linked. google black folding tables and pick two that fit your budget and space to make an L-shape. Thats what I would do if I wanted a big level surface.

This is the one I use... It's the best thing I could find to what you want/what I wanted besides building it myself. It's not bad, you can remove the keyboard drawer and just have the flat top.

Currently supporting 2 24" widescreen monitors on it, KB/Mouse, and decent size speakers. No room for a printer on it currently though. Bought a self same color as the desk and added 6 small wheels for my tower to sit on. Can add picture later if requested.
