Razer is known to have issues with the blackwidow, it doesn't have much durability to it.

If you want a keyboard for gaming, you won't go wrong with Filco/wasdkeys/Mionix/Daskeyboard/Thermaltake/Corsair (Do bear in mind Corsair's K series is NOT fully mechanical)

Idd. I myself have a Filco Majestouch 2 and it's easily the best keyboard I have ever used.

And like Inux said, I have also heard a lot of bad stuff about the black widow.

Care to link to some reports about issues? Since the switches are not made by Razer they can't be the problem, and the construction of the BlackWidow seems pretty damn solid to me. It's not the greatest keyboard around, but it's an affordable way to get Cherry Blue switches (haven't tried the stealth which has brown switches, and the "ultimate" ones are over priced).

too bad blackwidow doesn't support anti ghosting was actually disappointed when i found that out. (overal still solid keyboard for entry level mechanical keyboard)

Been using the Stealth for around 8 months now, and it's still working flawlessly. I also really like the rubberized surface. Right now I'm only using it at my work place, while using the Corsair K90 for my gaming PC at home. Both of them are great keyboards and never gave me a hard time at all. I would not, however, vote for the regular BlackWidow(the one with the glossy surface). A lot of people are reporting issues regarding this one and I'd honestly steer away from it. Plus it's a huge finger-magnet. As for the UK layout, I'm honestly not sure.

@shroudster: If I remember correctly, the 2013 version or the BW does have support for anti-ghosting.

The basic BlackWidow is on sale at Newegg atm. For a bit over $50 it is probably worth it. Should look into it.
