it's the principle. merely by having more gold, you get to access the content before everyone else. they could have implemented a difficult scenario as a prerequisite, but it's purely gold based.

and if you spend 100k on an invite, you arent just going to give your invite away for free. it's going to create a market.

After reading about the brawlers guild and some of the blue posts its no wonder people are so jaded about wow. Just how much can one company keep making bad design decisions and keep customers? Guess we'll soon see.

This is what we have PTR for. Blizzard can think of these stupid ideas, everyone can say how ridiculously stupid they are and then they might consider changing it. Making a system that at first is going to have an enormous buy in and even then be incredibly, incredibly time consuming to even participate in is ridiculous. High pop realm people are going to get shafted big time if they want to participate in this.

You are all stupid.. Blizzard want the Brawlers guild to be spectated, so one person at a time makes sense and these fights won't last long. Stop being idiots and think things through.

Then implement spectator mode, this stuff is just plain stupid.

This, this this. Blizzard claims they are giving us choice in the game, which is true for some things, but what choice do we have if we want to get exalted reps? None. It's dailies or you don't get it. That's not much of a choice. Why can't we have multiple ways to earn rep? It doesn't HAVE to be through dailies or tabards only. They could've put in something else. Various mobs grant rep for other various factions. Why couldn't that be implemented for these? Why not put one or 2 of the factions in the raid and let us earn rep through killing stuff in there like in Firelands? It seems like they're trying to bring back the dumb stuff from Vanilla. Not everything was better in Vanilla. This insistence upon having to do dailies and them removing HGWT pisses me off. Sigh.

Wow, the tears of entitled rage is just delicious today.

Please, cry more. Tell me how you're entitled to things all of a sudden when its you who's not getting it first.

This whole brawler's guild thing is probably a way for blizzard to make more people use the Black Market AH and then sink the gold on all the servers by a bigger margin than before. Its never about the actual content, but more of a fix idea to solve something other entierly. Lets say everyone starts camping BMAH and gold prices rise to the roof? Becouse the demand on entry tickets and other rare BMAH items climb to a new level. Blizzard suddenly starts selling gold? $$$!

Yeah it might be a bit far-fetched, but Blizzard is Blizzard! Im just saying.

It's adorable they think people will actually watch fights. I have no interest watching a friend fight a mob let alone strangers. Start taking a pool to see how long they instance this crap and realize they're bad for thinking this up. Also there is a lot of ignorant blue posts there. They equate not liking dailies to wanting rewards without effort. Running heroics over and over again when you have all your gear 463 and up isn't easy. It's work, it's a grind, but some people enjoy it more than dailies. Dailies are a single player feature, this is an mmo, some of us like playing with other people, even gasp...our friends!

it's a guild. what did you expect? Not all content has to be available to all people on day 1.
Knowing that there will be a gold requirement to this you can do what every other single player with gold does... Play the game. Earn gold. Be prepared.

over all, the amount of relentless moaning about LFR and Dailies is getting beyond... as in WAY beyond a joke. Ultimately a lot of this moaning comes down to one thing. People don't have the skill, team co-ordination, or time to commit to raiding. But want all of the rewards, and when they realise other players wont put up with such slack, weak attitudes they complain on the forums.

That's not how MMOs work - and proclaiming it should be is not a good argument for changing it. MMOs are about effort and reward. You get out what you put in - it's like life. Deal with or GTFO, and stop trying to get blizzard ruin the game for the people that actually care.

    Ok people ... listen up..

Every person that wins an invitation on the BMAH will be able to invite 10 people...... those people will be able to invite 10 people... who will be able to invite 10 people...

    1. The realm first achievement will go to the people who spend 500,000k on the AH. so what? it is a freakin useless achievement

    2. By the the third day, anyone who wants to get in, will be able to get in with very little money

That is it.. there will be 1-3 days of gating so the new feature isn´t overwhelmed with players. There will be a HUGE gold sink for people who want a shot at the realm first achievement... but remember, they will, at the very least be competing with 9 other people... so even if you pay 1,000,000 for your invitation, you aren´t guaranteed the achievement.

The fact is that very quickly, people will be selling invites for 1/10 of what they paid for theirs... this means the price on /2 will drop very rapidly. The real losers will be the people who buy for 500,000 and then don´t sell their invites quickly because others will.....

You are joking right? Almost all of the whining is coming from RAIDERS!!

Raiders who feel ´forced´to run LFR for loot
Raiders who feel ´forced´ to do dailies for coins.

That is what all of those threads are about.

Brawler's guild is just a bad idea for any high populated server. Period.

As far as those blue posts, it's kind of sad that so much of the wow population isn't very happy with the current dailies model. And all blizzard can respond back with is mostly sarcastic and passive aggressive responses. I don't mind doing some dailies, but the whole gated system for opening other factions(and MORE dailies) is not very good design.
What doesn't kill you, only makes you stranger

Except no one will be able to invite 10 people . You get 1 more invite . Per life. ONE . You can invite one more friend and that would be all. Period.

Brawler's Guild is a good idea, but it really ought to be instanced. If it's not instanced, I expect that it'll wind up like the Ring of Blood quests, where a bunch of people gather around the NPC trying to start their fights. The only people watching the bouts will be people waiting in line to fight, themselves. Also, wonder how many people are going to waste their own time and the time of others by sitting in line only to get curbstomped by the PvE encounter. What happens when someone bugs the encounter? What about all the trolling that is sure to take place?

It would be a much better system if it weren't restrictive and, if not instanced, at least phased somehow so that mutliple people could participate at once.

This TCG illustration is pretty awesome.

Too bad the Burning Embers effect can't look that badass in-game.

Isn't the whole Idea of raiding to get gear upgrades?

  18. #58
*shrug* nothing is being lockout away or denied to anyone here. Cry some more.

You want to be realm first in the Brawlers Guild, buy one of the first tickets and go get it. Solved.

Whats that? Someone with mroe time to invest or better gold making skills got there before you? Suck it up. No one gets an account with "+10% gold making" attached, if they hvae more gold than you they worked for longer for it. That is the nature of online games, why is it suddenly causing so much butt-hurt?

I love how everyone hate Brawler's Guild now because it will be hard to get into.... Because they all wanted to play it, but they cant right away. So now they think its stupid... yet they want to play it so badly. Lol...
