What was your most rewarding kill?

At work today and I found myself daydreaming at my desk. I've been away from wow for a couple of months now while the wife and I prepare for our little boy to arrive so I am living vicariously through the forums lol. Anyways. I got to thinking back to the night when my guild first killed HM PP back in ICC25. It was such an amazing night, and after what seemed like a thousand wipes and a noticeable dent in my desk via forehead, we executed flawlessly and got our kill. It is still my most memorable and rewarding kill in WoW. So I wonder. What is everyone else's? What kill was your most rewarding and you still think about?

    Rewarding kill-

Killing a geared healer in PvP solo by well-timed CD, interrupts, and a little luck with the crit RNG. Definitely a fist-pump moment.

Has to be a PvP kill in arena like 2 weeks ago.

I was (still am) playing enha shaman/WW monk (im the monk) against a bm hunter and warrior. The BM hunter and warrior basically globalled the heck out of my enha shaman, while I was already attacking the warrior and managed to kill him after my partner died.

Hunter unfortunately still had his whole zoo up with his CDs so he basically globalled the heck out of me too. So I LoSed him with 50k hp left and an enraged hunter pet on me. I decide to kill the pet and off-heal off of him and by using my Healing Spheres.

I managed to heal myself off of his pet and kill his pet at the last moment with my touch of karma. LoSed some more to heal myself, popped all of my CDs and killed the hunter because he used all of his.

Felt REALLY great after that ^^

Probably that bear/ghost in Grizzly Hills.

Was in a mix of Holy, Prot, Ret and PvP gear and trying to solo it. Others went through, but I waited to get that bear down myself. Felt good in the end.

Tried to do that group boss under ICC solo at level, but he hit harder than a truck and couldn't heal through the damage. But if I could even have a chance, he would've been it.

PvP: too many to think about, but the current one was killing that rogue with his precious Fang daggers, 1v1 (before the patch mind you). Should never messed with a Holy paladin. }:>

Orthas Bloodbane (or something like that) under ICC was a lot easier if you kited him round the circle.

Mine is probably Sartharian 3 Drakes or Illidan, good fun fights I got while still relevant and I played crucial roles, always brings back nostalgia from the time I raided.

I guess it would have been heroic nef, or heroic LK 25 man back in the day.

Leotheras in SSC, only because I was the last man standing and I had my whole guild cheering me and my mage on, was given the gloves as a "well played" ^^.

IN PVE I think it was killing Leo in SSC as the warlock tank, overall I put the most effort into the fight and it was in my opinion the reason why we had such a easy time killing him.

In pvp back in tbc I was doing double dps in 2vs2 with a mage friend, during the fight he got killed by the opposite team and I was left alone against a mage and his healer. The fight ended up me switching constantly my fear targets and because of that I managed to get the upper hand and killed both the mage and healer. Granted back then warlocks where the counter class of mages but being able to win against 2 opponents was most because of the difference in skill and class knowledge.

Yogg0 (25) world 20th kill. Not only was everyone yelling over vent in rejoice, but it put me in an amazing mood for a week, all smiles. It's pretty crazy how killing a boss in a virtual game can affect your mood. Close second was H LK (25) +10%, 700+ wipes to finally get a kill, thank god.

Lady Vashj. She probably wasn't even the hardest boss I've beaten, and she didn't take more time than any other (Kael, for example, took longer) but it was just an amazing feeling when everything finally came together after weeks of work.

A lot of raid fights where you all worked together but not together. In many fights, you're kinda relying on each other and hoping no one fucks up, but there was something about that fight where it was more than that. It was like the most teamwork heavy fight in the game I'd done up until that point. Lots of people had really specialised jobs and even on the basic stuff like core passing, everyone had to execute their job well. Everyone mattered. So when everything finally fit together and we moved together like cogs in the same machine, it was just really cool. I was very proud of us, I'm happy I got to accomplish that.

Definitely the coolest "video game moment" for me.

    40 man Ragnaros.

Some of the first times I fought the rare world spawns solo in Pandaria.

My word yes...we were stuck on her for an odd amount of attempts compared to everything else we'd done.

Illidan and really all of Black Temple before the attunement was removed and the whole game got easier were the most satisfying. I don't know why ICC and Arthas just didn't have that same feeling. It's almost like even then I knew that was the last time would have quite that level of feeling downing a boss.

It's honestly not nostalgia...something about the way the raids flowed and all the strats felt like the last great hurrah for raiding in WoW. Nothing has come close since then in terms of the whole package.

All of the Vanilla/BC bosses were amazingly designed, but they weren't nearly as rewarding to me as the Yogg0/HLK kills to me for some reason, and I'm a top50 tier raider, so I've seen it all when it was at the uptick of progression raiding. Although, now that I think about it, my world 3rd C'thun kill was frakkin amazing too, anyone remember farming for greater nature prot pots?

was doing emalon 25 i believe just to get a few more emblems so i can get 2 pieces of t8 at the same time
died at the middle of the fight for i wasnt paying that much attention that day
while i was dead i spotted that i was the only mage in the raid
aaaand the boss dropped 2 pieces of mage t8 which goes to me and i get 2 other pieces just after leaving the place effectively getting from 0 piece to 4 piece in 20 min

Every FL - Ragnaros kill that DIDN'T drop the new Sulfuras....which was everyone that our guild did.....about 12-15 kills.

I'll only ever have the legendary version from MC that i farmed on my DK.
