Suggest a PSU for this build

Hey guys!
I'm about to order new components for my computer, and there's only one thing I'm not sure I can get right. I need a silent PSU that will run this system.

The components i've already picked are posted below:
CPU:Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor
Cooler:Xigmatek GAIA SD1283 56.3 CFM CPU Cooler
Motherboard:Z77 Extreme4 LGA 1155 Z77 ATX Intel Motherboard
Memory:G.SKILL DDR3 RAM F3-12800CL10D-16GBXL
GPU:Geforce GTX 660 Ti
Case:BitFenix Shinobi

Please suggest the best possible PSU. It needs to have enough power (550W should be enough), and be as silent as possible. It also needs to be sold in Slovenia, or anywhere close. It'd be perfect if you were able to find it on this site: http://www.ceneje.si/

I would look on that site for one, but cannot read the language, sorry. However, for that system, unless you are planning on running SLI later on down the road, even a 450W would be plenty. Biggest thing is to make sure it is at least 80+ Bronze Certified. Other than that make sure it is a reputable brand such as Antec, Seasonic, XFX or Corsair. There are others as well, those are just my preferences off the top of my head.

Yes, sadly the page only supports slovenian language
Actually the only thing that I'm worried about it that it has a wrong connector for motherboard. And if it's loud. Other cables should all be there, at least I hope so. If you have any good suggestion just tell me the name and I can check if it's available in Slovenia.

Great, I found the SeaSonic on that site, so I'll take that one. Sadly it's 15€ more expensive than in USA, but well... all prices for computer components are a bit higher here. Thx a lot for the help.

It's a high quality Seasonic unit, so yes it's expensive. It's also more wattage than you need, but because of how the fan system works in it, that will keep the noise levels down, often even turning the fan completely off for fanless mode. You'll also want something beefier if you decide to OC. You should have no problems with connectors.

Why so much for a PSU while the Corsair HX650 is exactly the same? Seasonic are making the HX psu's for Corsair.

I think you mean the AX series by Corsair Faithh. The HX series is different, although also made by Seasonic. Yeah it's expensive. It's a higher end unit compared to the S/M12II PSU's. The only reason I mentioned it was that the OP stated he wanted it to be as silent as possible.

HX series aren't different than the AX series. The only difference is that the hx is not fully modular (24pin, 8pin, 2x pcix 8pin) and some weren't labeled as Gold but now they all are. When the HX850 was labeled as Silver while the AX850 was labeled as gold was just a marketingstrick. The hx850 were doing 90%+ efficiency like the gold series.

I wasn't aware they added the silent mode to the HX lineup though, which is nice. The 650 appears to be from Seasonic still, but the other gold certified are a CWT platform. I suspect the HX650, having the same platform internally as the old HX620w is likely seasonics M12II, and not the Seasonic Gold X 650, which is what Corsair uses for their AX series lineup.

Yep. Corsair is going to introduce very very soon new AX series with platinum certified. They really look cool and performs awesome ^^

What do you guys think about Corsair CX500? 500W should be enough for me, reviews also say that it's really quiet, because it changes the RPM depending on the temperature, and it's a lot cheaper than some of the top PSUs you suggested.

Don't bother with the CX line, it is a blemish on Corsair's otherwise good record.

So is there a good alternative from 40-80 (max 100€), with 450-550W power? I will probably never run more than one graphics card (I just ordered the GTX 660 Ti), so I doubt I need more power than that. How much power would I need if I decided to run two GTX 660 Ti?

If you're from Slovenia, you could order from Germany (as a Finn I can recommend that).

Seasonic and Be Quiet are known to make 'quiet' units. Seasonic fans don't spin until above 50% load.

Thx for all the suggestions. I've finally been able to decide. I'll buy SEASONIC S12II-520 520W and order all my stuff from Germany. And i've also been able to find an even better looking case

If the Seasonic M12II-520W isn't much more (<$10), maybe consider getting it since it is modular.
