Help to fix this Ret Pally.

Hello everybody. I need some help with a friend. He is having trouble getting a good DPS and I really though searching, could not reach a conclusion. So I come to you today to post some logs and profile of him, who knows, you, can help me.

What could be wrong? Reforge? Gem? Rotation? Fingers? Or is it all right and we're thinking wrong?

His re-forging/gearing looks fine and the most typical problem for rets is lack of inquisition uptime. The only fight I checked was spirit of kings, but he was 94% uptime on that so inquis isn't the problem. The only thing I can really think of is his talent selection. I may be wrong about this but I'm pretty sure most rets take Sanctified Wrath over Divine Purpose so it's possible that's where the DPS gap is coming from.

at a cursory look at feng:
- suboptimal or missing enchants (go askmrrobot and fix)
- suboptimal reforges
- rotation doesnt look correct
- HA not aligned with AW, if he cant do that, he's better dropping HA and going with SW and spam those hammers
- amazing how he managed to mistime springs, so he missed it stacking with all the other cd's apart from start
- he also needs to learn how to time CD's to hit with springs/proc trinkets - knowing how long the fight is going to last is key here, to know you can hold back AW to wait for proc's etc

Having a look at his armoury.

He isnt spec'd for Holy Avenger. I thought that was by far our best talent at that tier!!!

His gemming and reforging appears off, haste budgets on gems are very good.

Just a quick note on this, there is this GREAT addon called TimeToDie that I'll endlessly recommend. It tells you how much time is left on the boss until kill, based on your raids CURRENT DPS. It can help with timing and CD usage and judgement calls on when to use something (wait or blow it) especially later in the fight.

Looking at Elegon for example it's not wonder he is doing subpar dps, nothing is lined up properly.Also missing potions in there.

At the moment yes, but when you aquire t14 4-set I think sactified wrath will top it.

They'r all pretty equal and really boss/raid dependant right now.Our 4piece bonus got nerfed so claiming SW will be best is kinda random, it will line up with HA almost perfectly each time with 65 seconds reduce.

Yeah, but we do not have much skill in looking at the logs, and the main problem ... even seeing that there's something wrong, we can't fix. So I'm asking for your help
