Oh no no no no. We must educate the next generations of the awesomeness of Ghostbusters, and force them to watch and like it. And educate them on the awesomeness of Twinkies, and, if available, force them to eat and love them too.

By the way, the whole "they stay good forever" deal is a myth.

Besides, as if starving children from those who lost their job is not significant in a 1st world country.

I just realized that this includes wonder bread items as well. Now that sucks its the only bread my kid really will eat.

This is a dark day for humanity. Twinkies were a major deterrent for nuclear war. being the only food to survive a nuclear war, nations would be much more cautious as to not doom us to eat those things. Now, we're doomed, DOOMED.

Convince him his favorite celebrity or cartoon character likes real bread, A la Michael Jordan eating Wheaties.
Marshmallow bread makes you a marshmallow.

Good, these snacks are pretty nasty. Both taste wise and health wise.

You'll have to import. Wonder bread will keep being made in Canada by Saputo, Hostess bankrupt or not.

My kid loves that whole wheat white wonder bread, will have to see if there is another comparable brand.

Independent bakery's already make twinky like products that put actual Twinkies to shame, that being said I will still miss my Wonderbread as well as many other hostess goodies be it the small pies or even the little raspberry&coconut things.

I would really miss the Raspberry filled powdered Donuts but I haven't seen one of those in years as Hostess has only been circulating them in larger cities and even Walmart hasnt had Access to them around here in over 10 years.

Either way I must applaud Hostess for not caving into the demands of the Union and maybe our government will now pass a law to prevent the thuggery/blackmail caused by Unions.

Haven't read the entire thread, but incase people don't realize it... they will be bought by another company, no need to worry.
As far as i know, we don't have "twinkies" here in Europe... we have them, but they're not called Twinkies

Rainbow or Sara Lee in my opinion, Rainbow being the closest thing to Wonder while Sara Lee tends to have a much sweeter flavor that kids enjoy.
