Mail icon at character selection screen

Anyone else think this would be nice and useful? For someone like me who currently plays on a crappy computer that sometimes takes forever to log in, it would be nice to know if I have mail or not, so I dot have to spend a few minutes to log in and check only to find out I don't.

My last computer, this was ever an issue as it was super fast, and u could be in and out within a minute or two depending on the amount of mail I had. Bu my current situation is painful to have to log onto my bank alt just to see f my auctions sold.

You should e-mail them at the suggestion box. This would prevent me from forgetting all the crap I mail to my bank toon and having it mailed back.

Like I said, previously I Never had a need fr it, but recently I have been cursed with a pos computer, and it would make my life easier from time to time.

I also know that there is no way in hell that I'm te only one in this position.

It's probably another one of those technical challenges, since mailbox is updated after you log in afaik.

You can actually do this by logging into your account and checking on the armory at the tab of your auctions. It has a tiny little bar that shows number of mail items in your mailbox. I'll grab a screenie to show you, hang on.

It also shows you the amount of auctions and stuff. You can even put stuff up for sale and even BUY stuff through this armory feature!

Yeah this, also you can download the Mobile Armory app if you have Android or iOS phone. You can make Auctions through that if you want to put up some items

Speaking of useful things, i want a notice to pop up every time I try to vendor a piece of armor that is in an armor set I have. I have a pvp armor set and pve and hate it when I notice "15 items in bag, 1 item missing". Bliz needs to save stupid people from themselves. Hurry before I do something else stupid!

I'm not trying to crap on your idea, just pointing out the fact that it's been suggested pretty much on a monthly basis on the official forums since at least 2011 (I remember many, many posts about it on the old official forums too but obviously can't link to them).

I'd take it as a given that Blizzard have absolutely no intention of integrating this feature, as awesome as it would be.
