My $600 Budget Build (Could use friendly criticism)

This is a build I'm thinking about buying with a $600 budget, would it work? I'm still new at PC building so I don't want to make any novice mistakes. I'm going to probably be using a resolution of 1920 x 1080 and I'm aiming for it to be able to play most current games on ultra such a skyrim. Any help and friendly criticism would be helpful.

    Change the CPU/Mobo to this:

Motherboard: ASRock H77M Micro ATX LGA1155 Motherboard ($59.99 @ Newegg)
    Total: $167.27

Definitely squeeze a SSD into the budget at least 120gb. Also try to afford a case that has cable routing behind the motherboard it will help with cooling and the overall build quality.

The 4300 got more performance packed into it, hence why I chose it.

    <---- (Resident AMD lover here)

Unless you are getting an insanely low price on the 4100 go with the 4300 or an unlocked i3-i5. The Zambezi's are considered old tech now, I bought the 8150 and I'm kicking myself for not waiting a month and getting the 8300.

Yep. Most of the time you just have to do an easy switch in the BIOS.

And don't forget the OS. A lot of people make their builds with a specific budget, and then forget Windows.

Well you'll have the lovely program Lucid virtu.. It's not needed to disable the IGP in the bios though.

Without lucid or enabled in IGP, it's not going to act annoying and interfer your games or browsing and you won't see the Intel IGP's driver in the system tray while you use a dedicated graphics card.

    Interesting,

Will the fact that the i3 is dual core be a problem when the recommended requirements for some games are a quad or more core cpu?

An i3 is 2 physical cores and 2 virtual hyperthread cores. An i5-3570K + Z77 mobo is probably out of budget so the only quad-core alternative would be AMD. The downside of AMD is that they have worse 2-core performance although their 4-core performance is pretty good. Since most games are only 2 threads, i3s are recommended over AMD 4+ core CPUs for gaming.

Most games are only making use of two cores and the i3 will perform equally to an i5 (@ stock speed) there
