    1440x900 VGA replacement

My dell monitor received some problems (pixel stuck) and I had to return it. Didn't get any replacement monitor, so my brother offered me an older Acer "whitescreen" monitor (he calls it that) and apparently the monitor only gets 1440x900 because it's a whitescreen.

Just wondering if I should use this at all to game in the meantime. Will the VGA 1440x900 annoy me after coming from 1920x1080 HDMI?

It probably will, you know, less working space aside, it's VGA.

Less workspace is no problem, I'm just worried about the quality like you said. Would a VGA->HDMI( monitor vga, pc hdmi) fix this?

I'm sitting here on a 1680x1050 VGA monitor. I've used 1920x1080 IPS panel of my brother for 2 weeks and then switched back. For like one week it was uncomfortable but then I got ussed to it.
