    Upgrading PC

Hello there, i am looking into upgrading my PC with a new processor, a new motherboard, and an SSD. I mainly use my computer for playing games. I can't really specify what games i play a wide varity (PS2, single player RPG's, indies, old simulated games, MMO's... basicly just a lot of different games). I have currently looking into getting:

    Core i5 I5-3570K 6 MB (Intel Boxed) (http://www.edbpriser.dk/processor/co...d-6705209.aspx)
    ASUS P8Z77-V LE PLUS (http://www.edbpriser.dk/bundkort/asu...d-6758646.aspx)
    Samsung 830 Series MZ-7PC256B 256 GB (http://www.edbpriser.dk/ssd-solid-st...d-6437572.aspx)

Sorry that links are in danish but description is in english. I have also considered the FX FX-8350 8 MB (http://www.edbpriser.dk/processor/fx...d-7042039.aspx), but i herd some negative stuff about it. I do not really have a budget per say, I just don't want to waste a whole bunch of money for close to no performance gain. For the motherboard, it is a requirement for it to have SLI. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Whats your current PC? Is it a pre-build like a Dell?

840 series Samsungs are available I'd go that route, look into the ASRock z77 Extreme 4 unless you plan to spend over $200 on a motherboard. Fx-8350 is a fine choice on par w/ the i5 in single threaded apps(games) can potentially overclock past or completely equal to an i5's single threaded performance, easier to obtain Epeen Overclocks, I'd still recommend Intel myself, but im thinking of a little Fx-4300 build. If your currently using SLI from an older generation your upgrade path could be skewed badly, an i7-9xx w/ 2 like 2xx series nvidias the issues your having are the GPU's being old and slow, w/ no real support for them, In this case I'd recommend something like a 670-680 7950 or 7970.

You won't really notice a difference between 830 & 840, choose whichever is the cheapest.
    i7-6700k 4.2GHz | Gigabyte GTX 980 | 16GB Kingston HyperX | Intel 750 Series SSD 400GB | Corsair H100i | Noctua IndustialPPC
