To be fair, Lei Shen and Garrosh progress began at the start of week 2, meaning they survived those six days against relatively more geared teams.

What is overtuned though?
I think bosses should require gear from everything that has come before them. So early Mythic raid bosses should be tuned for full HC gear, later Mythic raid bosses should require some Mythic gear and the final boss should require nearly full gear from the instance they are in. Tune things like this and the race would last way longer.

The reason why blizzard cant do that is because if they tuned the bosses like you are describing for top 10 guilds then it would be impossible for lesser skilled guilds to kill them.

That's not a good enough reason to overtune bosses. If the <1% can kill them in a week so what?

G'huun the Blood God doesn't quite reach four days. Very similar timeframe to High Imperator Mar'gok mythic in Highmaul actually.

350 wipes on G'huun, 654 wipes on Kil'jaeden. But four times as much time spent on Kil'jaeden.

That seems like a lot of wipes for how much time they spent on G'huun. They spent twice as long on Argus and only 320 wipes. Similar length fight. Did Method massively speed up their pulls when they started streaming?

Oh the casters were just wrong, Method on twitter said it was far less.

Allot of the wipes were early into fight. With Argus they might have had most wipes towards end of long fight. They were also just resetting G'huun (something you could not do on argus) making it quicker to wipe when needed and get back in.

True but close enough. Their first reclear on fallen avatar took two days, second reclear only a few hours. I guess phase 1-2 was flat out broken for a bit but their write up suggests they pulled it a lot anyway.
