As stated your best bet with a group of friends is a nice combination of rolling and giving gear to whoever gets the biggest upgrade. Personally loot council, if done correctly, had always been my favorite loot system. But obviously there is no need with only ten people to manage.

I think this is the best way to go tbh. You probably don't even need the the loot council part of it, just add a +1 aspect to your /roll system and keep track of it. To break it down just have a piece go MS roll if someone has won something already just factor that in and use your best judgement on how you want to handle that. As long as you have a solid core the loot will even out.
