    Motherboard help asus versions?

    Like in my last thread when i asked for help with memory for my new computer, i now need help with my new Motherboard.
    In the Narwhal / Unicorn build on the frontpage a couple days ago i found this: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...SIN=B007G51UWY

    But just like last time i can't buy that one in denmark, but i can find 2 others that looks similar:
    http://www.edbpriser.dk/bundkort/asu...?q=P8Z77-V+LGA
    Product key:90-MIBHZ0-G0EAY0DZ
    I don't know if its just the danish site or if it is asus that makes strange poduct keys :S

    Isn't that the same one?

    Asus P8Z77-V

    The only difference between the P8Z77-V and the P8Z77-V PRO, if that is what you are asking, is;

    2 extra USB 3.0 ports (8 instead of 6)
    an eSATA port
    and a Digital 12+4 Phase design instead of 8+4 in the P8Z77-V

    Unless you need the features present in the P8Z77-V, like onboard WiFi, USB Charger+, you don't need to spend as much on your motherboard.

    You can go with http://www.edbpriser.dk/bundkort/asu...d-6758647.aspx and http://www.edbpriser.dk/bundkort/gig...d-6728920.aspx . Since the price difference between the LK and UD3H isn't much, I'd go with the Gigabyte UD3H-Z77.

    Pro versions have raid controllers.

    Likewise LE versions are stripped down and have less stuff to fit into MATX cases.

    These are the major differences.

    EDIT: upon further review it would seem the normal version has a raid controller now too. I guess Asus changed that in the last year or so.
