First part, Dk and Paladins.

ICC period Warrior's/Mages.

Hmmm loaded question...

I felt paladins were having a bit of Renaissance but maybe we were all so jaded from being shit for so long that Wrath just felt like a huge blinding light in a dark place.

Elemental Shamans were kind of loony if you had the right gear, but it got sort of hotfixed at a point.

Mages have never been shit, ever. So don't even ask, you already know.

I dunno we make such big deals out of class imbalance usually during PvP or when we're less geared but by the end of it we're all fairly evenly matched (except with those sporting Shadowmourne obviously) It was hard because I run with a guild that follows the bring the player philosophy. Bad for initial progress but it works out at the end.


I'll go with Retribution paladin with Shadowmourne because I'm a biased paladin nutter.

All four healing classes were almost on the same page and were just about as useful as any other.

Season 8 was fairly balanced compared to any of the other WotLK arena seasons. Also, it was a lot more balanced than any of the Cataclysm arena seasons.

BC? Pretty sure the main purpose of a mage was to buff people outside a raid, and then never go in. That changed dramatically in Wrath.

Coincidentally, Ghostcrawler was hired in 2008.

Healing - Disc Priest and Holy Paladins were the best.

Best Healers by a country mile were Paladin, though i loved my disc priest and his shield spam, i miss those days.
Best DPS, i can only really count in my guild, i was always top as a frost DK, only times i was ever beaten was on Saurfang where our rogues would occasionally beat me.
and when our paladins got shadowmourne, with all their extra dps vs undead they were hard to beat.
Arcane mages were also very good and common as chlamydia.

I can't believe it took 20 posts for someone to mention resto druids. I always found druid to be the most powerful of my healers by far. ICC era battlegrounds as a resto druid were insanely OP.
