well i can see how someone could mistake fyi for fyy, if pronounced quickly and/or sloppily.
more ot, I have never encountered fyy either, so Ockam's Razor (solution that makes the least presumptions is the most probable) would predict it's indeed the above.

I wanted to know the exact same thing what does FYY mean! Googled it and ended up here.. Of course you're right it's FYI... But since I've seen FYY a LOT around it means a lot of people write it in a context not knowing the exact meaning. Now I do, thanx to Botji here, know the correct term, so... My posts/tweets from now on will contain the correct "FYI", FYI not the noob term FYY ;-)
