Most likely setting up for the Diablo 3 expansion or possibly the name for the D3 PvP patch.

They wouldn't register a separate website for the D3 expansion, or a single patch. Anything to do with D3 would go on their already established D3 website, similarly to anything SC2 or WoW related.
How curious. Definitely something to be keeping an eye on, at any rate. Thanks for passing on the info.

PROJECT doesn't look as expansion. It's either the PvP patch, or the steampunk new MMO, known as Project Titan.

Going by the name I would guess it is something Diablo related, on the other hand it's unusual for Blizzard to register any "project" for an expansion or patch. I guess time will tell. Thanks for sharing this!

I get the feeling they will announce what it is next Blizzcon as there won't be any other new releases at that time for them that we've heard of.

World of Warcraft is already steampunk (submarines, zeppelins, steam tanks, shredders, etc.), so the genre being "modern" is unlikely to have much effect on future Blizzard releases. Originally Posted by mvallas

If this ends up being Titan... then my theory that if MoP didn't do very well, they would push Titan up front to establish a new cash-cow to help suplement and announce it at this Blizzcon is coming true. Originally Posted by Scummer

i think blizzard have done this with wow patches in the past, but its very rare. my bet goes to something diablo related,
