in ze north here, there's mostly hills and rain, so the water just freezes and stoopid ice covers everywhere. I'm sure there's going to be a dozen car crashes again because of silly tourists! I want snow though, snow is cool.

Ads were never excitable afaik and also ads generally aren't in youtube videos unless the uploader puts them there first (FYI If it's an Sment video you're watching, they put the ads in their video before uploading so you can't exit them xD)

Ye, those. If by annotations you mean the small windows that users put there over their subscribe/facebook/twitter "buttons"

It's the annotations indeed. Only way to get rid of them now is to turn it all off, but sometimes those buttons link to nice things

I guess youtube might have removed the ability to exit them. Either that or just a bug.
