Like, I know what one would need to make sure the computer doesn't melt down, how to install a new OS (though I haven't done it on Win 7 yet (though I doubt it's that much different than the XP install method)), and so on. But when you start talking about code, tweaking programs and shit, I don't have the foggiest idea what one is saying.

I borked code the other day in away3d when I was trying to cull the objects after a certain point and then spawn them in another place, but it just spawned all the objects into the same space on an infinite loop :[ Puri head desked for a while after crashing the program

Ye... I though that too a few times. I had the whole presentation in my head, knew exactly what I wanted to tell, what order I would tell it in and was ready for every question possible. 3 minutes later I was finished, forgot 80% of what I wanted to tell and couldn't even pronounce my own name anymore.

Not in your head! Put it on paper, read it over, make sure it would make sense out loud, read it a few times out loud, and you should be set. I don't know how normal people do it, but I've noticed that if I'm dizzy and terrified beforehand, I actually do better, so I just kind of yell at myself until I'm actually scared, then I breath a lot and shallowly, and then I present. I doubt that would help normal people (or at least more normal) though.
