Oh look, another baddie allowed a warlock to pop all his cooldowns and chaoswave without LoSing it or popping a defensive while his healer is being braindead and being slow on healing or popping a barkskin on you.

When you LoS the warlock before it lands, it does no damage....

Diffuse doesn't work because it's not spell damage. Chaos Wave is being registered as a type of damage that avoids all resistances, which means it's not a spell. Originally Posted by allaiva

Technically it is spell damage, but it's Chaos damage which is a type of damage that ignores most damage reduction.

Guess it's hard to understand the concept of pet stunning someone or fearing them before randomly popping chaos wave - only someone who is just about brain dead would ever pop such a cooldown when the opposition can move and avoid it somehow, the fact anyone even uses that as an argument when it wouldn't even happen (least not above 1600) is really disappointing considering these are the PvP forums. And this is without factoring in 2 other people who can also displace, stun, slow, nova or just CC in general before the warlock randomly kills the whole team in a 3v3 environment. If you let a demo warlock build enough demonic power to reach a point where he can pop meta with all his cds and deal that much damage with one Chaos Wave, then yeah, you weren't the best of players... Originally Posted by Malgru
