Sim - Vortex + Darkmoon > Lei Shen + Darkmoon.

Ran simulation for my char several times, I am always getting vortex + dmc > lei shen + dmc about 500 dps more.

Do you guys think is worth to keep it? I mean, many ppl calculated that dmc and lei shen give more dps.

In the trinket topic I got other results. Lei Shen's + DMC > Vortex + DMC. Difference in DPS by 3812 in my current gear.

Are u serious? OMG!!! Swapping these trinkets I got only like 500dps from each combination o.O!

I think u need to reconsider your gemming. Blue socket: hit+haste, red socket:str+haste, yellow socket: haste. some reforge may be usefull to get rid this 0.20% extra hit and expertise u got.

That would be ditching strength and going for more haste. Even Mr. Robot is doing the same and still placing me under hit cap (lol?). And anyhow +320 haste is only about max. +30 dps over the +80strgh +160haste gem in my current gear and that on single target Patchwerk fight. In real boss encounter scenario the gems are either equal or the haste falls under, since if you AoE it's almost game over, hence why almost all top raiding/geared DK's gem for it.

And I can't get rid of the strenght+hit, reforge for hitcap, and just keep the gemm's to stregth and strength+haste only because then I would miss the +strength item socket bonus. Else if you gemm/reforge just based on what simm's tell you, but in the real world your DPS goes down, it's not worth it.

And to get on topic, has anyone else simm'ed the trinkets and noticed what OP said?
