The axe is ridiculously OP. I also had it at +5 and sheesh, it makes most of the game a joke.

Although, it is apparently considered to be on par using the grenade launcher in CoD, or so I've heard.

Better weapons exist too, faster and probably with a bit less damage but since the BKGA can't be enchanted, enchanted weapons can surpass it.

My build is... None actually, I'm just leveling and leveling. I use the paladin set, Sanctus, a +15 Claymore, Darkmoon Talisman, and to pull enemies from a distance I use the Darkmoon Bow. Using the Ring of F*cking Favor that increases health, stamina and encumberance and the Stam. Regen ring.

I'm still not really sure about what weapons would be the best for PvP. Something fast no doubt, a lot of people use the furysword.

Depends on your playstyle. I would say the best PvP weapon playstyle (The one that requires the last skill whilst still maintaining a huge level of destruction) is a +15 Rapier with Crystal Magic Weapon on it on a Dark Magic INT build. You don't really have to know what you are doing, just sit behind a shield and poke them at melee range with your rapier for 500 damage per poke, and one-shot them if they go away from you.

But usually Black Knight weapons are great for PvP due to their high damage. But as I usually say; The best PvP weapon is the weapon you best know how to use. In PvP it's 30% equipment, 70% skill imho, so even a naked guy with a dagger can take you down if he plays well.

Yeah it doesn't really break peoples poise. For PvP I will rather use the Black Knight Greatsword. But I also love that weapon with a passion - It's movements and looks gives me the hardest goosebumps

But the axe is ridiculous in PvE because it swings so fast, so you can just get a 400 hit in between the boss' attacks and then hide behind your greatshield of artorias again

I have encountered many peeps using that axe when I invaded as a Darkwraith. That thing should be banned.
