The underwater part of MGS2 is pretty unbearable, but the game (and the entire series) is too good to not play.

Note/Triforce collecting in Skyward Sword/Wind Waker. Also the sailing in Wind Waker.
Wouldn't say "ever again," but they are putting him off.

Triforce Hunting in Wind Waker, Notes in SS, and the Wolf Parts in TP.

Harvest Moon: A New Beginning for the paaaainfully slow start.

Way too many things to name, but one I can think of in particular is Skyward Sword, tear hunting in the silent realm. I had nightmares for weeks.

    EVER.

    Blight Town 1.0.
    (Such a retarded area).

Quite honestly haven't met an area that I did, close to it was maybe STALKER Shadows of Chernobyl. The underground areas are annoying.

    Resident evil 1-2, puzzles.

Question whatever you take for granted.

Well I'm playing Assassin's Creed 2 on the PC at the moment and since I got to Forli it's gone from freezing every few hours to freezing every few minutes so I'm going to say that

Also going back a ways but there's a bit in RE: Code Veronica where you have to do a long section followed by a boss fight followed by another boss fight before you get a save slot and I swear to god I had to re-do it like a hundred times and kept dying to random things before I could save. Sigh.

Escorting EVA through the jungle in MGS3. Not enough to stop me from replaying, but God that part was irritating.

The first couple hours of every Pokemon and most Zelda games. They just need an option to let me skip the tutorials. Do they think I forget how to throw a Poke Ball after every game?

The whole 60-85 stretch in WoW. I've stopped levelling a few alts once I hit Outland, and the Cataclysm zones are just as bad if not worse. Northrend's a bit better, but still bad compared to 1-60 and Pandaria. At least it had pretty scenery.

The first dream zone in Breath of Fire.

First, you have to traverse an area with a set path you can't see, and if you stray off the path, you get a spout that stops you and does damage. Then you have to go back through it. What's worse here, though, is an enemy that is just extremely overpowered for your characters at this point, no matter how much you've farmed levels.

After that, you have to climb a tower. What's wrong with that? There's buttons on the paths (that you can't avoid), that make all the walls disappear, making you "feel" your way through. Oh, and the stairs disappear to, so you have to find the other colored button to even see it. After only three levels, you think you've been doing it forever.

The second dream zone used to be my most hated, but it's cake compared to the first. Just gotta know the pattern to kill Mote. When he's fully visible (not blurry), he's highly resistant to physical attacks, and vice versa. Fortunately, though, you can get Karn's ultimate transformation before then.

People have mentioned Wind Waker and other Zelda games, but not Spirit Tracks' train traveling? ;p That's the only Zelda game I've finished which I then immediately stopped playing, never went back to even consider sidequests or looking for all the Heart Pieces and so...

That reminds me, the Temple of the Ocean King in Phantom Hourglass was horrible as well. It wouldn't have been so bad if they let you skip floors like in Spirit Tracks. I actually liked the rest of the game, but I still have yet to replay the whole thing.

The train was pretty boring too. As much as I hated sailing (especially in Wind Waker), at least it wasn't completely linear. Although, being non-linear doesn't really matter when there's nothing to explore.

Kagekiyo fight in Genji: Dawn of the Samurai.

Bongo Bongo in Zelda: Ocarina of Time

    Cid Raines in FF13

Lifa Tree in FF9. Because I accidently used a Phoenix Down on the BOSS instead of Garnet, and won the fight, and never would of thought it would of worked.
