Random Black Screen - Please Help.

For months now I have had this Issue where I'll be playing a game or browsing youtube and out of no where my Screen just goes black.. but the screen stays on as if it were on sleep mode. My computer keeps running but I cannot hear/see anything.

If im on skype and it goes black.. my sound freezes and I just hear it spaz out then silence.

At first I thought it was a Video card problem and I thought I had to replace it..
I then checked the insides of my computer.. of course keeping grounded so I didnt fry anything.. and I realized that my CPU needed more of that.. heat gel/paste thinger.. so I applied more to it.

My computer ran fine for about.. 4 weeks... now its back to giving me black screens.

The way the black screens start off is my Fans go crazy and speed up.. then blackness.

If anyone can help me out that would be awesome. If you need more information just ask and I'll try to answer them all.

Update your graphics drivers, I've had a similar issue to this.
