I've actually been having the same issue. I had to reinstall Windows 7 because some reason the NVIDIA beta drivers crashed my computer and I couldn't even get to the welcome screen. so I put a fresh copy of Windows 7 ultimate on and now whenever I restart or anything, I have to manually run explorer.exe from the task manager. It is also taking 20-30 seconds to start up vs its old 7 seconds. Max.
