Modern gaming apologist: I once tasted diarrhea so shit is fine.

Red Faction and Homefront weren't brilliant, there's no getting round that. But I have to agree that a lot of other games from THQ have been absolutely amazing, and a few of them rank in some of my all time favourites. I love all of the 40k games they have done, Dawn of war, Dawn of war 2 and Space marine were all solid titles, while they all had their individual flaws, I feel they were all great games on the whole. I also love company of heroes and Darksiders.
THQ are one of the only publishers I can think of that are willing to give new IP's a shot, and I don't believe they've ever engaged in any shitty business practices that I didn't agree with like other publishers I could name, if they have, then I didn't hear about it.
Yeah, despite them running Red Faction into the ground (which makes me sad, because I still remember the first one blowing my damn mind with destructible environments) and flubs like Homefront/Udraw (lolUdraw), I quite like THQ. They've been a pretty decent group of guys overall, they've just made some horrible, horrible decisions. Part of this is motivated by my near fanatical love of Saints Row 3 and my thorough enjoyment of DoW 40k.
Yeah. THQ has several hits and misses, but I can't fault them for their willingness to try new IPs. Space Marine was pretty much a rehash of Gears of War combined with War40k. Darksiders was some kind of weird Zelda/God of War hybrid. Dawn of War has always been a decent RTS playing second fiddle to Starcraft, and I've gotta admit Saints Row 3 was pretty great.
Avoid any Red Faction game, though. Even the first one was pretty bad, and the sequels haven't been any better.

Frankly, I'm not even going to turn NoScript off to even be able to use any part of Facebook. There are fly by night free porn websites I would trust before trusting Facebook.
hurray, i get it on steam now... however if i understand it, metro 2033 is free as promotion for upcoming metro last light... you have a chance of winning free game but it is restricted to US only... i havent seen any for EU... sooo now if im from EU i can get only first metrogame for free without any chance to win lastlight.. am im right?
code worked for me and i have added game on steam.. again, im from EU
When i click the Link all i get is directed to Facebook home page. I went to the Facebook page by typing it in Facebook search and find no mention of a free game code. Is this US only?
Ty.
Am I the only one that would rather pay than use facebook?
I did a Google search and found it. Should of done that prior to posting in this. Either way thank you for the find. A free game is a free game. Using Facebook doesn't bother me, when in reality it would truly shock you just how much companies already know about you.
Great game, not so good optimization and controlls though imo, but the story and atmosphere is very good.
Do you hear the voices too?
http://www.facebook.com/THQ
Is this the page? Since, you know, the other links just send you to facebook, not to their page.
https://www.facebook.com/MetroVideoGame
This one, they have a link to the correct page in a post on the top of the page at the moment.
Hmm the link doesn't seem to be working - try this http://www.facebook.com/MetroVideoGa...95840630491782
If it just takes you to facebook, type "Metro 2033 free" in the search and it'll come up as an App page.
Hah, cheers for the info, almost missed out on this. Wanted to buy this game for some time now, but somehow never got around to it.
got this last nite
im still regretting being unable to buy SFIVAE bcoz i forgot my password -.-
