Just curious where the community here stands on what their favorite class is. This isn't a question of what class is more powerful at PvP or can parse the highest numbers in PvE. The question is simply, what is your favorite class to play?

Bounty Hunter, I have two. You should add a poll!
G-Damn you guys are fast! I was literally typing in the poll mere minutes after posting and you guys already responded. Must be a slow Friday at the office for you guys too. ; )

To answer my own question, the Shadow / Assassin is my personal favorite class. They have all the things I enjoy: Stealth, Big Number Burst, Melee and Ranged options, and Utility.
Bummer. =(
Well once you get done have a great weekend!
This is very true. Normally I have a hard time deciding on what class to play because I don't enjoy the playstyle of the classes, but in SWTOR I do enjoy the majority of the class mechanics. The only one I really haven't tried is Sage/Sorcerer. I'm surprised Sentinel and Marauder haven't gotten many votes though.
Healing is quite fun despite the bad UI as the groups are small; I always hated healing in 25 mans. In pve I prefer my sage, in pvp my operative, who also happens to have a great class story.
As someone who tries a melee class first in every MMO he starts, I feel both Marauder and Shadow are somewhat clunky, but haven't reached 50 with either.
For PvP DD:
1. Mercenary/ Commando
2. Marauder/ Sentinel
3. Assassin/ Shadow
4. Sorcerer
For PvE DD:
1. Mercenary/ Commando
2. Sorcerer
3. Marauder/ Sentinel
4. Assassin/ Shadow
For PvP Tanking:
1. Juggernaut
2. Assassin
3. Powertech
For PvE Tanking:
1. Powertech/ Juggernaut (don't mind which one to play, both are fun)
2. Assassin
For PvE/ PvP Healing:
1. Operative
2. Sorcerer
Planning on playing a sniper however 0 interest in trying merc/ commando heal.
I haven't really fully played them all yet, but i'd have to go with Sniper so far, really enjoy playing it.
You must show no mercy, Nor have any belief whatsoever in how others judge you: For your greatness will silence them all!

I loved the sorceror and the mercenary, incredibly fun to play, but sorc sucks at endgame so I'd have to go with mercenary for this poll. juggernaut was amazing, too. I usually dont enjoy melee classes, but the juggernaut really rocks.
what was your issue with sorc? (as I'm playing one, doing engame)
Sentinel/Marauder!
My Jedi Sentinel with my commando trooper a very close second.
MLP Friendship Is Magic - Republic - The HarbingerThe Madhi LegacySlugfest - 55 Watchman Sentinel | Slugtrooper - 55 Gunnery Commando | Slugconsular - 55 Seer Consular | Slackfest - 55 Sharpshooter Gunslinger | Slugagent - 55 Marksmanship Sniper | Slugwarrior- 55 Annihilation Marauder | Slughunter- 55 Arsenal Mercenary | Slugsorcerer- 55 Lightning Sorcerer
I voted Guardian/Juggernaut as I love the game play when tanking with the Juggernaut...loads of fun, however I preferred the BH storyline.
Favorite class to "play" i think might be my Gunslinger. I've tried 2 different builds and he has a fair amount of AoE and burst damage attacks. I like to stay far away and typically use a tank companion while soloing. The only problem was that I found damage only companions like Risha to not be much help.
If play as a whole includes story. Then Jedi Knight sentinel. 2 light sabetrs are awesome and the story is easily one of the best and certainly most important in the game.
For PVP I'm a smash-monkey at the moment. It's fun and so utterly OP it's comical. I feel a little bit sorry for every healer that literally gets destroyed in about 9-12 seconds.
It's very cathartic after 2 hours teeth gnashing of level 50 PVP on my operative though.
What is this nonsense? Shadow / Assassin is the lowest rated now? =(
I have both a Shadow and an Assassin, AND I just rolled another Shadow for pre-50 PvP. Good grief!
