What are some jobs with lots of free time with internet access?

Some of the things mentioned in another thread was night auditor, security guard, overnight person at group homes and assisted living places, Information System Specialist, Network Admin, Systems Admin, customer service for companies with low calls, etc.

Are there any other jobs like that, especially where you can have the lights dimmed (I have sensitive eyes).

I plan on working on building blogs/websites in that free time, not play games.

You're supposed to work at a job, not slack.

If you want to be a lazy slob the job you're looking for is commonly referred to as living in your parent's basement.

I heard that construction workers spend all their time indoors on computers; should be the thing you're looking for.

I found out that the best job for me is something outdoors.

I play WoW when I'm at home, I go out in the evenings with friends, but it's nice to have some time where you're actually outdoors and work is the best option if you want to play videogames in your spare time Maybe it's just me, but being outside for 8 hours, without any computer and internet while earning money is like a dream job for me

Oh and it's much less stressful, at least for me

I believe that percentage is low.

would not believe the amount of spare downtime I would have once everything was done.

How about finding a job you enjoy more that WoW?

No, I don't even play games. I would like to be productive by working on blog/website which then I could use as a source of income and live off of.

I dunno... how many technological advances have come forward because people wanted to become lazier?

How good to see your priorities are straight. You must have paid attention in school.

There actually are a few jobs around where I live that have a lot of 'downtime'

Local computer repair shop: Someone brings a computer in, it gets diagnosed, repaired, and they list what was done to it. The customer is informed their computer is ready to be picked up, it's set aside with a nametag.

After this, the people there having nothing to do until someone else needs something.
Floor cleaning (sweeping/vacuuming) are done overnight.
Windows are done on weekends once in awhile.
Counters are wiped down after each repair.

So there's literally nothing to do when there's no computers to fix.

Probably approximately none have come from this particular sort of laziness. Someone thinking, "I'd like to avoid this task in the future" leads to innovation. Someone thinking, "I don't desire to do anything that takes effort" does not.

What would you even say in the interview? "So why do you want to work for us?" "Oh I'm looking for a job with a lot of downtime so I can work on some personal stuff." If you really want something with a lot of downtime so you can work on your blog/website then get a part time job. 16 hours a week you'll be earning a bit while having lots of free time when you aren't working.

Not this shit again, for, like, the 5th time.

With all the competition for jobs out there, no one wants to hire a useless slag who's not going to contribute to the business.
They can dynamite Devil Reef, but that will bring no relief, Y'ha-nthlei is deeper than they know.

Well I'm a receptionist, and spend 90% of the time on the internet, or playing WoW (when I was subbed) due to boredom.

A friend works at a Game-Lan shop, and just has to help when idiots screw up stuff, and talk to people at the door, but 95% of the time, he can play any of the games on their servers/ or do whatever he wants.
We stopped searching for monsters under our beds when we realized that they were inside us.

Tell me something, my friend. You ever dance with the devil in the pale moonlight?

Stock market trading. If you are good, you don't have to work at all.
