Double unique trinkets?

This is my crappily-geared alt tank/dps warrior. Anyone else see this happen? I have two unique-equipped trinkets...the same trinket, but one is heroic and one is from the regular version of the dungeon.

its unique by item not by item name. it would only stop you from wearing both if it said Unique-Equipped: "Item Name"


also my dk uses exact same xmog as you xP

TOC was like this also. You could have the normal and heroic version of the trinket. You could have normal Death's Choice and Heroic Death's Choice.

ICC stopped this. You couldn't have DBW and Heroic BDW at the same time. I think cata was like this too.

Guess we are back to TOC loot at least for 5 mans, coz the raid gear has a special Unique equipped (insert name here) (1) showing you can only have one version (LFR, normal or heroic) equipped at a time.

Do they both proc together? I didn't know they lifted the restriction on this. Good news for my scrub geared toons. I wonder if valor upgrades apply xD

If it says something more than unique-equipped, like the vial of dragon's blood i linked, or the darkmoon relics, then you have to choose one of them.
If it only says unique-equipped, you can use both normal and heroic(or lfr and normal)
